LADY GAGA'S CREATIVE DIRECTOR ADMITS TO RIPPING OFF MADONNA
As it's become quite apparent ever since the release of Alejandro, Lady Gaga's been coming under fire for her consistant thievery of Madonna's 90's back catalog. Lady Madonnabe has been quite contradictory in her thoughts, saying the night before at the Grammy's that Whitney Houston was the inspiration behind Born This Way (giving side-eye because we all know for a fact Whitney would never sing a shit track like BTW let alone dated S Club 7-esque Euro pop) and then the next admitting on Jay Leno that Madonna gave her blessing for Born This Way, which many with working ears called her out for ripping of Express Yourself. Gaga even went as far as to call her comparisons to Madonna "retarded" in a interview with CNN (which she later apologized for using the retard word).
Now her lesser talented creative director Laurieann Gibson, who has been giving the new generation of fags some of the worst choreography since Sparky Polastri sold a dozen of the same jazz hand routines in Bring It On admitted to the L.A. Times something people with a smidge of intillect have been saying all along - that the queen of hypocrisy did in fact sneak into the Warner Bros. vault, xerox all of Madonna's ideas from 25 years ago, throw some New York Community College art school glitter on it and pass it off as avant-garde. Read the factual information below...
LA Times: A lot of her visual aesthetics have been compared to Madonna. As her creative director what are your thoughts on that?
Laurieann Gibson: Listen, [Madonna] should be bitter because I did it on purpose, and you can quote me. I did it on purpose because for all those kids who believe that you can’t, I wanted to let them feel that you can. And that’s what I represent, that’s what Gags represents. That’s what this movement represents.
All I have to say about this is I rest my case on this phony cunt. She has a pretty good voice and she plays the piano very well. But she's clearly a manufactured puppet concocted by Interscope. What I don't get is why she says one minute that she comes up with all her creative ideas, but hires a creative director? Sorry but creative people who come up with all their own ideas don't need to hire someone to help them with their creativity. That shit wouldn't be allowed in art school (which she says she attended).
So if you idiots want to continue to wear blinders when it comes to this bitch just because she's riding on a campaign for gay rights (something that clearly isn't a big deal now that the majority of Americans are for marriage equality), then go ahead and do that. Lady Gaga looking to the past for inspiration instead of taking past ideas and putting a fresh spin on it will only make people like Madonna hungrier in the end. Creative people need trend hijackers to keep them on their toes to make them atronger. It's something we feed on.
So in a way I'm actually glad Madonna hasn't retaliated against Gaga like Lil Kim has against Nicki Minaj. It's always best to take the high road, and show through your actions why people look to the veterans for inspiration instead of the imitators. Madonna will prove at the end of the year when she drops her new dance album why she is the queen of pop. Kabbalah teaches you to not gravitate so quickly toward negativity as a way to feed your ego, and I know in this business we call show, where it's always about self-service, gratification and ego it's hard to maintain a sense of selflessness. Madonna hasn't sold out world venues and made an impact through media for shits and giggles. She earned every sense of the word "icon." Now what Gaga needs to do to get to that "icon" status is to fire Laurieann because her choreography is a hot, uninspired clumsy mess.
