Ke$ha, Ne-Yo and Far East Movement to Rock Billboard Music Awards

A new series of big stars have been added to the performer list of 2011 Billboard Music Awards. They are pop/dance singer Ke$ha, hip-hop group Far East Movement, alternative rock band OneRepublic, pop/rock singer/songwriter Ryan Tedder and R&B crooner Ne-Yo. 


These newly-added musical guests will be joined by previously-announced acts like Cee-Lo Green, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Taio Cruz, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. Hosting the whole event, which will take place on May 22, will be "The Hangover" actor Ken Jeong. 


Nominees for this upcoming awards have been announced last April. Taking the most nods are the likes of Rihanna, Eminem and Lady GaGa who frequently occupied the Billboard charts during the period of February 28, 2010 through March 1, 2011. 


Special honoree is Beyonce Knowles who will receive Millennium Award. One of the most celebrated female singers, the former member of Destiny's Child is chosen as a special honoree due to her career achievements and influence in the music industry.
